History was made on Friday 1st November 2024 as the Distinguished Old Students Association of Holy Family visited Holy Family Secondary School. The amiable team arrived with three (3) new Mowing Machines, which was presented to the school to help them in keeping the compound clean by cutting the grasses to have a once beautified alma mater.
The President, Comrade Tony Eleme, who was represented by the spokesperson, Amb. Kelvin Alisi thanked the incumbent Principal of the School, Mr. Obed C. Igwe, the oldest staff, Mrs Ogundu, (Bursary), Evang. Ihesinulo Stanley, Evang. Ibe Emmanuel and other teachers, while encouraged them to take necessary responsibilities to bring back the glory of the school. Noting that Holy Family Secondary School is the only Secondary School in Odenkume that must come to standard to serve a better purpose for the host community and beyond.
Students that received a term scholarship from Engr. Silas Ikoro, one of the OSAHOF delegates. Mr. Chinedu recorded award for the Chemistry students.
Comrade Tony thanked every member of OSAHOF for contributing their money, ideas and opinions in making this project possible. He also commended specially, the 2004 Set, who took the bold steps by purchasing two mowing machines on their own to support the project. Also challenged other sets to borrow leaf from our tree blazers, the class of 2004.

He reiterates that OSAHOF is for all of us who are registered and active in its affairs. Adding that whatever we do here is to promote the association and support ourselves. “Sometimes, we’ll take tough decisions to get things going in a formal and organised way, even without minding whose ox is gored. It’s all for the interest of OSAHOF. Thus, let’s continue to support the growth of the association”.
