Hon. Austin Nwachukwu Wins. Imo PDP Salutes State Chairman, Hon. Austin Nwachukwu on Another win
and commends National Scribe, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, for putting Imo on the map.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Imo State chapter, congratulates its State Chairman, Hon. Austin Nwachukwu, on his election on Tuesday,
November 20, 2024, as the interim Chairman of the Forum of PDP State Chairmen in Nigeria.
For Lancelot Obiaku, the State Publicity Secretary of PDP, Imo State sees the development as a win for Imo State.
Following his election on Tuesday, Hon. Nwachukwu on Wednesday led all 36 State Chairmen and that of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT),
to a familiarization meeting with the National Working Committee (NWC), where sundry issues, especially the upcoming zonal congresses of the party were discussed with a view to fostering unity and development in the party.
The delegation included the 29 newly elected State Chairmen and 8 others.
This development does not come to us as a surprise as it is only a confirmation of Nwachukwu’s leadership ability
for which he has proven within a very short time so far as Chairman of our great party in Imo State.
Hon. Nwachukwu, a former member of the House of Representatives, has excelled in both the public and private sectors,
because of his strong character and integrity have consistently stood out.
We are confident that he will leverage his wealth of experience to rally
and unite other Chairmen and contribute to the growth, development, and stability of our great party.
Imo PDP reserves special commendation for our visionary and dogged leader and National Secretary, Dist. Sen. Samuel Anyanwu (Samdaddy)
for projecting and pushing the Imo interest at all times.
Indeed, Nwachukwu’s elevation could not have been possible without his strong input, and this ultimately showcases him as a leader who brings the best out of people around him and pushes them to greater heights.
No doubt, Nwachukwu’s election as Chairman of all Chairmen is an absolute vote of confidence on Sen. Anyanwu’s leadership
by all the State chapters of our darling party, it can only get better.
While we appreciate Sen. Anyanwu for his sacrifices for the State,
we will continue to urge all Imo people to embrace the PDP now more than ever as it is the only party on whose platform Imo will shine at all levels.
We pray that God grants Hon. Nwachukwu more wisdom and an excellent spirit for a successful tenure.
