The Life of an Igbo Politician- PART 1.

The Life of an Igbo Politician- PART 1.

The Life of an Igbo Politician- PART 1.

The life of an Igbo Politician has raised serious concern; for the Igbo people have been in the political wilderness more or less since 1970.

Because of the quest to be part of the political of Nigeria, the Igbo Politician is made to believe and accept allegiance from Northern cabals, creating unpatriotic representation for the Igbo people.

When marginalization issue comes up in Nigeria government, the Igbo Politician don’t see it as opportunity to serve his/her people

And bringing the dividends of democracy home. It is seen as an opportunity to help the cabals to marginalize the people said to be representing.

With Dr. Don Chika Madu, we are delighted to present a discourse that will sooner change the narrative. You can support the Epicmore Cultural Intelligence Hub HERE.
The Igbo People:

Igbo people are the ethnic group or a cultured community in eastern Nigeria. Enjoying a cultural history, which is characterized by peaceful coexistence

and justice in their original way of life, and to a great extent, industrious and truthful. The Igbo political system is a democratic representative one that supports equality before the law.

THE LIFE OF AN IGBO POLITICIAN:

The Igbo Politician normally comes from a humble background. From low to middle income parents who toiled to see him through school or trade.

Despite challenges, strives and, in some cases, succeeds in his chosen path, at least rising above his parents’ income class.

Meanwhile, devotes much of his middle-aged life trying to hook unto a Hausa/Fulani benefactor.

Altering his lifestyle, culture, and even religion just to appease his revered benefactor.

The Igbo Politician can be man or woman. Constant using of ‘he’ does not exclude the female gender from the Igbo political scene.

So, let us continue with Dr. Don Chika Madu.

Meanwhile, he’s sending signals to his home people that he has finally hooked onto the powers that be.

He begins to flaunt his Abuja connection, coming home with police and paramilitary escort to drive home the point that he has arrived.

His Abuja benefactors, having satisfied themselves this igbo politician, is a willing and reliable tool, will decide to ‘make’ him a governor, Senator, minister, or any position of power.

This piece tends not to paint any personality or region, only discussing a disturbing issues to drive meaningful development home.
Let us continue with Dr. Don Chika Madu.

They watch him use his position to loot. They even use him to loot and make him the looting pipe.

Meanwhile, the igbo politician is getting intoxicated. He now wants a higher power.

He begins to have an independent mindset and wants to be president.

Now, his Abuja benefactors begin to notice the Igboness in him. That one thing they fear about Igbo people begin to manifest.

‘He must be put in his place’, his benefactors say themselves.

They unleash EFCC on him, dust all the dossier they have kept on him. They make life miserable for him around Abuja.

The politician returns to his home state, together with other Abuja rejects.

Instead to come together to factor the way forward, they gather to anoint a godson to oversee the state’s treasure.

Who will go on to share the State’s allocation with them for the next four years.
